Maurice Traylor

Former resident Maurice Traylor, 71, died Wednesday, June 10, in Hazelton, Idaho from 
numerous health conditions and complications including diabetes, limb amputation, 
Parkinson's Disease, blindness and kidney dialysis.

Mr. Traylor was born in Teague on May 31, 1937, and was raised in Fairfield.
He worked as a heavy duty equipment operator and was employed by Bobby Rutherford 
for several years.

On March 9, 1970, he married Gwen Gentry in California who was his wife for 38 years.
Mr. Traylor is survived by his sons Eddie "Goose", Jimmy and Bobby Traylor; and 
stepson Matt Scroggins.

He was preceded in death by his father Lewis Edward Traylor, mother Ruby Ethridge, 
one brother and three sisters.

Mr. Traylor's body was cremated and memorials may be made to the American Diabetes 
Association in his memory.
