Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Neta Bess (Harper) Trezise (Died April 19, 2011) Neta Bess (Harper) Trezise Funeral services for Mrs. Neta Trezise will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 2:00p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Scott Matthews will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday with the family present from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Trezise passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the McKinney Medical Center in McKinney. She was born in Teague to Guss & Laura Withrow Harper, grew up there, and graduated with the Teague High School Class of 1945. She married James L. Frisby on October 19, 1945 and shared some twenty-five years together. Neta moved to Arizona in 1971 and married Everette Trezise in 1972 and shared over thirty years together. Mrs. Trezise was a devoted mom and homemaker and enjoyed sewing and crafting. She studied floral design and loved to grow roses and other flowers. Mrs. Trezise was very social, loved to visit with people, and was a faithful Christian. She was baptized at First Baptist Church in Teague near the age of ten and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sierra Vista, Arizona for almost forty years and was involved in numerous church activities throughout the years. She is survived by two daughters, Anita Frisby Nellis & husband Carl of Sierra Vista, AZ, and Jennifer Yount & husband David of Tuscon, AZ; five grandchildren, Mark Nellis, Laura Nellis, Erica Nellis Jones, Erin Prestidge, and Alexandra Yount; three great-grandchildren, Abigail Yount, Coralie Jones, and Danielle Jones; one sister, Billie Huffman & husband Ray of McKinney; numerous cousins and friends. Mrs. Trezise was preceded in death by her husbands, James L. Frisby and Everette Trezise.
