Eston (Buddy) Turner, Jr.
                         
Eston (Buddy) Turner, Jr., 69, pastor of Fairfield Christian Center, passed away 
Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Waco.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 
8:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at Fairfield Christian Center.  Funeral 
services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at First Baptist 
Church with Pastor Billy E. Fitch, Pastor Robert Smith and Bro. Billy Paul Daniel 
officiating.  Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery.

Buddy was born April 26, 1944 in Corsicana; to parents, Eston Wright Turner, Sr. 
and Rosa Margaret Dunbar Turner.  Buddy married Patricia Rowe on April 26, 1969 
in Thomaston, Georgia.  For almost forty years he pastored Fairfield Christian 
Center.  He was a graduate of Fairfield High School and earned an associate 
degree from Navarro Junior College. He also graduated from Christ For the 
Nations in Dallas.  He was a member of the Fairfield Ministerial Alliance.  In 
addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother.  
Pallbearers were Tim Sherber, Eric Peterson, Nathan Turner, David Dickenson, 
Scott Dickenson, David Tisdale, David S. Doctorian and Mike Rowe.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Patricia of Fairfield; three children, 
Shauna Dickenson and husband Hal of Ruidoso Downs, NM; Lydia Doctorian and 
husband David of Macon, MO; Nathan Turner of Fairfield; one sister, Jo Vern 
Tisdale and husband Oscar of Streetman; five grandchildren, Scott Dickenson of 
Ruidoso, NM; David Dickenson of Indianapolis IN; Beth Dickenson of Ruidoso Downs, 
NM; Elayna Doctorian of Macon, MO; Evan Doctorian of Macon, MO; sister-in-law, 
Bonnie Hall of Macon, MO; brother-in-law, Mike Rowe of Van Wert, IA; several 
nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Fairfield Christian Center 
for the continuation of Brother Buddy’s radio program and worldwide distribution 
of Bibles.
