Bobby Utsey
(Died March 17, 2011)


Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Utsey were held on Monday, March 21, 2011, at 
11:00a.m. at First Baptist Church in Wortham. Bro. James Herrington officiated.

Interment was held at 3:00p.m. at Plainview Cemetery in Madison County.

Mr. Utsey passed away on Thursday, March 17, at the Odyssey House Hospice in 
Fort Worth. He was born in Bryan and lived for many years in Normangee before 
spending the past twelve years in Wortham. Mr. Utsey loved to hunt and enjoyed
the outdoors. He had many skills and talents and worked for the railroad, as a
butcher, as an iron worker, and did farm and ranch work. Mr. Utsey retired and
went back to work numerous times. He was a true people person and never met a
stranger.

He is survived by his companion, Cathy Taylor of Wortham; two sons, Travis 
Taylor of Wortham and Bobby Utsey, Jr. of Austin; three grandsons, Rustyn Cade
Taylor, Cameron Fortson, and Peyton Utsey; two granddaughters, Allee Fortson 
and Jordan Utsey; numerous other relatives and friends.
