Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - Aug. 3, 2004 edition Adam Villa Funeral services for Adam Villa, 23, of Tehuacana, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel at Teague. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery. Mr. Villa, born on April 24, 1981, died Sunday in East Texas Medical Center at Fairfield. He was a former resident of Teague and had been married for only four months. He was newly-employed with Cudd Pumping Services and worked in the oil fields. Mr. Villa loved baseball and was a Baptist. The family will receive visitors this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home. Surviving are his wife, Sammie Villa and daughter Kaitlin (another child due in November), all of Tehuacana; his mother, Lois Pingleton and step-father, Joseph of Teague; his father, Ricardo Villa of Hillsboro; a sister, Angelette Villa of Teague; three brothers, Ernest Villa of Plano, Chris Villa and Ricky Villa, both of Hillsboro. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Catherine Milam; paternal grandmother and grandfather, Ernest and Maria Villa of Mexia; numerous friends and other relatives.
