"Clessie" Ruth (Middleton) Vinet

ARLINGTON -- "Clessie" Ruth Middleton Vinet, 78, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000,
in Grand Prairie.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Mansfield with Dr. Cliff
Harrington officiating. Burial: Birdston Cemetery in Streetman. Visitation:
6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vinet was married to L. P. Vinet for 40 years. As a young couple, they
adopted their son, Daniel, when he was 5 years old. "Clessie" was a dedicated
and faithful wife and mother. She spent many years ministering to young
Christian women, helping them to repair and rebuild their marriages. She
accomplished this through scripture-based counseling and the use of scriptural
books that she authored. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in
Conroe.

"Clessie" was preceded in death by her husband, Louis P. Vinet.
Survivors: Sister, Frances R. Middleton of Dallas; son, Daniel Vinet and his
wife, Janet, of Arlington; grandson, Steven A. Vinet of Burleson;
granddaughter, Shannon D. Vinet of Arlington; and a host of family and
friends.
