PNEUMONIA CAUSES DEATH OF FAIRFIELD CITIZEN

Mr. W. A. CARROLL, 62, died at noon Tuesday Dec. 22, of pneumonia at the home
of Mrs. Morgan LOTT south of town. Burial was in the Dew Cemetery Wednesday.
Mr. CARROLL was taken ill Thursday of last week growing rapidly worse. Deceased
is survived by a brother in Grosebeck and a brother in Athens. He had been a
resident of this county for about twenty years and had conducted a small store
in Fairfield for some time. He was a member of the Christian Church being of a
pleasant jovial disposition. He made many friends who regret his passing.
