Margie (Pate) Walker

Funeral services were held Sunday for Margie Pate Walker, 77, of Fairfield who 
died Thursday, Feb. 26.

Mrs. Walker was born in Pearsall on April 4, 1931, to Jake and Martha Pate.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she had served as Worthy 
Matron.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at Dew Cemetery.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her son, Ron Walker and wife Rebecca of Houston; 
daughter, Carrie Self and husband Marvin of Fairfield; grandchildren, Warren 
Self of Fairfield, Lucinda and Shaun Morgan of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Jim Self of 
Fairfield, Boyce Walker of Houston; and great-granddaughter, Ava Morgan.

Funeral arrangements were made by Griffin- Roughton Funeral Home of Fairfield.
