Mexia Daily News - Sep. 13, 2005 edition Clinton Earl Wallace Funeral services for Clinton Earl (Bud) Wallace, 73, of Mexia, were held this morning at 11 o'clock in Porter Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Bill Wright, Sr., of Mexia. Burial was in Mexia Cemetery. Born Feb. 22, 1932, in Coffee County, Tennessee, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, in Wortham Rehabilitation Center. He was a retired employee of Hardwood Floor Finishing. Surviving are his wife, Glenda Wallace of Mexia; a daughter, Betty Fortson of Mexia; a son, Jackie Wallace of Mexia; a grandson, Shane Ingram of Mexia; a granddaughter, Wendy Shifflet of Mexia; great-grandchildren - Jacoby Fortson and Kayley Shifflet of Mexia; a sister, Earlene Isbell of Mexia; her extended family - Larry and Patty Johnson of Mexia; many friends and neighbors. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Snowden, Joel Alvarado, Jessie Green, Mike Snowden, Ken Stroder and Chad Dabney. Designated as honorary pallbearer was Jerry Sullivan.
