Bertha Washington

Mrs. Bertha Washington of Fairfield passed away Thursday, October 15, at 
Goodshepherd Hosital in Longview among loving family and devoted friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, October 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 
7:00 p.m. at Moore's Angelic Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 
Saturday, October 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Temple Church Of God In Christ, 
located at north highway 75 in Fairfield.

Elder Tas Betts will officiate, and interment will be in the Rhode Island 
Cemetery in Fairfield.

Mrs. Washington was born Bertha Mae Zimmerman to the late Jimmy Zimmerman and
Martha Green Zimmerman in Freestone county.

She attended public schools there and worked as a housekeeper for families in
Fairfield. Mrs. Washington was a member of the Hemphill Temple Church Of God 
In Christ.

Surviving Mrs. Washington are her children Ezell Washington, Edell Washington 
and his wife, Cheryl, all of Ft. Worth;

Charles Washington of Fairfield, and Beverly Rider and husband, Albert of 
Gladewater, fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, one great, 
great, grandchild; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
