Hazel Grace (McFadin) Fryer Watson

Services for Hazel Grace Watson, 84, of Waco, was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today 
at Fairfield Cemetery with the Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Burial was to 
follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Capps 
Memorial Chapel in Fairfield. Mrs. Watson died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2002, in Waco.

She was born June 28, 1918, in Fairfield to Dr. Wiley and Lillie McFadin.

She married George William Fryer in 1938. An Air Force Lieutenant, Fryer was 
declared missing in action in 1944.

She married Howard Watson Jr. on Aug. 13, 1946. They owned and operated Fairfield 
Supermarket for 12 years. They moved to Waco in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her husbands and two brothers.

She is survived by sons, Charles Fryer of Mansfield, John Wiley Watson of Waco, 
and Howard Watson III of Waco; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
