Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Teague Chronicle - May 17, 1918 edition Death of Wiley Black Wiley Black aged about 65 died at his home in Dew Fri. morning of pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at Dew cemetery Sat. by Rev. P.R. White of Fairfield, burial being in Dew Cemetery at about 11:00. It was said to have been attended by one of the largest crowds of any funeral held in Dew in recent years. Mr. Black was one of the old and honored citizens of the county, having lived here many years. He is survived by his wife and ten children. Among whom are the following: sons: Lee, Robert, Earl, Meck, and Burnet. Daughters: Mrs. Lewis Eubank of Lanely, Mrs. J.G. Smith of Dew, Mrs. Harvey Lane of Dew, and Misses Maggie and Grace Black who live with their mother at Dew. He also survived by one brother and two sisters.
