"Walter A. Brewer Funeral Services Held Saturday 

Walter Alexander Brewer, 84, of Groesbeck, passed away July 18, 2005 at SunBranch Nursing Center of Groesbeck. 
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 23 at Andrew Chapel in Groesbeck with Elder R.D. White of Grace Tabernacle COGIC officiating. Interment was in Lone Star Cemetery. 
Mr. Brewer was born January 4, 1921 in Freestone County. He was a maintenance worker for brick companies living in Freestone and Limestone County, Groesbeck and Mesquite. He was a member of Church of God in Christ participating in The Sunlight Gospel Singers of Groesbeck as a charter member. 
He is survived by his wife, Mozelle of Groesbeck; daughter Carolyn Brewer of Groesbeck; 2 grandchildren, Chasity Ross and Stephanie Thomas, both of Groesbeck; a special niece, Rolanda Ratcliff and husband Willis of Groesbeck; nieces Gloria A. Brigham of El Campo, Clinetta Moore and husband Al, of Bedford, Brenda Richardson and Johnny of Teague; a nephew, James A. Wright, Sr. and wife Johnnie of Mexia; 15 great nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. 
Pallbearers were James Sullivan, George Brown, Gene Brewer, Brandon Banks, Bobby Smith, A.T. (James) Tatum,, James A. Wright, Jr. 
Moore's Angelic Funeral Home of Teague was in charge of arrangements."
