A. L. Weaver Jr.


HEREFORD - A.L. Weaver Jr., 65, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Sinai Baptist Church with 
the Rev. William Johnson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial 
Park Cemetery in Hereford by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mr. Weaver was born Jan. 14, 1940, in Buffalo, the son of Genava and 
A.L. Weaver Sr. He married Annie Booker on Oct. 22, 1962, in Clovis, N.M. 
Mr. Weaver retired in 2004 after having worked for Marcum Motor Co. more 
than 20 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Weaver of Albuquerque, N.M.; 
two daughters, Kay Weaver and Barbara Weaver, both of Albuquerque; three 
brothers, Albert Weaver of Corpus Christi, and Leath Weaver and Bill Weaver,
both of Dallas; three sisters, Ophalean Sweat of Ervin, and Eleanor Brown and 
Vernell Bank, both of Fairfield; and nine grandchildren.
