Freestone County, Texas Obituaries [This is Tempe Ann (Chamblee) Weaver ] Fairfield Recorder Oct. 1, 1897 Young Locals Mrs. Timpy Weaver, wife of Mr. John W. Weaver, living near Butler, was buried at the Rehoboth Cemetery near here last Saturday. The deceased was a lady well known in our community and a good pious woman. She said before she died that was ready to meet God in peace. Thank God for that blessed expression. May His blessings rest upon the husband and darling children that they may too be ready to meet God in peace when He calls them. ------------------------------ [same issue] Mrs. Timpy Weaver, wife of Mr. John W. Weaver, near Butler died on Thursday night of last week after a long and painful illness. She was about 35 years and a daughter of I. B. Chamblee, living four miles north of Fairfield. She had been in declining health several years and her death for some months has been only a question of time. Besides other relatives she leaves to mourn her loss a husband and two children. Her remains were interred Saturday in the old Rehoboth cemetery near Young. The Recorder tenders deepest sympathy to the bereaved family in the loss of wife and mother.
