[Obit for Jorene Bonner Wells]

Jorene Bonner Wells, 75, passed on Monday, July 14, 2008, at Triumph Hospital in 
Channelview, Texas. She was born in Freestone County on February 10, 1933, to 
James Millen Bonner and Artie Ola Teer. Jorene later came to marry Jerry Ethel 
Wells on June 19, 1952, in Centerville, Texas.  After several years of traveling 
to such places as Glenwood, Iowa and  Omaha, Nebraska they settled in the Houston 
and later in Channelview, Texas where they raised four  daughters: Cynthia Diane 
Wells, Bonnie Lynn Strang, Brenda Gail Hesse and Kimberly Jernnell Wells and she 
had a place in her heart for her son-in-law Michael Blackwell.  Jorene was a 
devoted wife, mother and  grandmother.  She had 6 grandchildren: Jeremy David 
Strang and wife Tara, Brandi Nicole Hesse, Brandon Nicholas Hesse, Katie Jolynn 
Marion Strang, Brianna Gail Hesse and Brian Gilbert Hranda; 3 great 
grandchildren: Kelly Brooke Strang, Laney Danielle Strang and Cameron Reid 
Hesse who meant the world to her.  She was preceded death by her parents, five 
brothers, one sister and husband Jerry E. Wells. She is also survived by 2 
brothers, Charles Mac Bonner and wife Ann, D.A Bonner (Tootie) and wife Pat 
Sister, Margie Herndon and husband Dick, Sisters-in-law, Katherine Bonner, Annie 
Lou Bonner and Maxine Bonner; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends such as 
her very best friend who was like a sister to her, Norma Faye Neveedomsky.  
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 18, 2008, at 10:00 A.M. at Advantage 
Howard-Glendale Chapel.  Graveside services and interment were held at 4:00 P.M. 
at Fairfield City Cemetery in Fairfield, Texas.
