GLEN WHITE

Funeral services were held Monday at Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield for 
Glen White, 77, of Freestone county who died May 20 in Fairfield.

Interment followed at Dew Cemetery.

Mr. White was born March 28, 1934, in Dew to Douglas Randolph and Corine 
Gardner White.

He was a lifelong resident of Freestone county and a graduate of Fairfield
high school.

On December 12, 1953, he married Marcia Dell Wilson in Golden Meadows, LA.

Mr. White was a retired welder.

He was known for his love of gospel music and for several years was a member 
of southern gospel group known as the “Lighthousmen.”

Mr. white was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Bryant Burleson.

He is survived by his wife Marcia; children Debby Burleson of Hewitt and Doug 
White and wife Sharon of Fairfield; sister Carolyn White Anderson and husband 
Harlin of Bay City; granddaughter Shannon Jones and husband Josh of Fairfield; step-grandchildren Clint Burleson and Autumn Beard; step-great-grandchildren Chandler Stuberg, Brody Burleson, Reagan Burleson, Tripp Burleson, Trey Daniels, Aniyah Daniels; and aunt Callie Anderson of Austin.

Pallbearers were Jeff Anderson, Link Anderson, Nicky Anderson, Dennis Lane, 
Larry McCeig and Bill White.

Officiating services were the Reverends Terry Skinner and Tommy Hall.

Making arrangements was Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
