WHITE Funeral services were held Friday, May 1 at 4 pm at the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague for Adolphus H. White, Jr., 67. Interment was in Dew Cemetery. Mr. White died Thursday April 30, in the Teague City Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born April 7, 1903 in Dew and had resided here all of his life. Mr. White was a member of the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church. He was a retired merchant. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Coy White of Dew; one daughter, Mrs. Dane Dull, of Houston; one son, H.Z. White of Waco; four sisters, Mrs. W.A. Mainord of Ontario, Oregon, Mrs. Jim Atchley of Dew, Mrs. W.H. Colson of Corpus Christi and Mrs. L.D. Hartley of Dew; two brothers, J. H. White of Ravenden, Ark, and E. C. White of Jacksonville, Texas; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rev. Royce Sanders and Rec McKissack officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Noble Lane, W.C. Barger, Rex Goolsby, Bill Lancaster, Estes Goulding, and Leroy Senter.
