Stanley Ray Whitehead, 25, of Corsicana, died Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital 
following a gunshot wound. Service was Wednesday, 2 p.m. Jones Chapel Methodist 
Church in Fairfield with burial following at Rhode Island Cemetery in Fairfield 
----He was an employee of Oil City Iron Works and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sharon Whitehead; a son, Brian Whitehead; five 
sisters, Vera Mack, of Maypearl, Lousettta Foley, of Dallas, Esther Willis, Mary 
Coleman and Lou Ruth Whitehead, all of Fairfield; three brothers, Louis Whitehead, 
of Fort Worth, Floyd Whithead, of Post, and Lewi Whitehead, of Oklahoma; and his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. McAdoo Whitehead, of Fairfield; Pallbearers were Willie 
Foley, Lozell Lewis, Larry Washington, Anthony Tippens, Aubrey Washington, 
Camell Washington and Eric Coleman.
