Sara Amber Whiteside

Funeral services were held this month for Sara Whiteside, 20, of Fairfield who 
died Sunday, Oct. 7.

Miss Whiteside was born April 26, 1987 in Temple to parents Lisa and Kenneth 
Whiteside.

She attended Fairfield high school where she participated in tennis and worked
as editor of the school yearbook.

After graduating in 2005 she hoped to become a dental hygienist and attended 
school at Blinn University in College Station and Navarro College in Mexia.

Miss Whiteside was a member at Emmanuel Baptist Church and was currently
employed in Fairfield.

Services were held Thursday, Oct. 11 at Calvary Baptist Church with Don Suits
officiating.

Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Miss Whiteside is survived by mother Lisa Jones Whiteside, brother Kristopher 
Whiteside and wife Emily; sisters Levi Whiteside and Kimberly Neal and husband 
Jason; grandparents F.E. and Evelyn Jones and Maxine and Fred Whiteside; aunts
and uncles Ronald and Elyne Jones, Leslie Whiteside, Chris and Angie Tibbet;
cousins Jeff and Tina Whiteside, Chad and Tiffany Whiteside, Jesse Lee 
Whiteside, Kallista Whiteside, Heath Jones, Geoff and Rachal Marshall;
nieces Sophia Neal and Aynslie Whiteside; nephews Justin Neal, Warren Neal and 
Carson Whiteside; and boyfriend Barry Vaughn.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Whiteside; great grandparents 
Forrest and Ethel Jones and Charlie and Lola Peachie Baty, W.O Whiteside and
Vernon and Cleo McAdams.
