Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder newspaper January 29, 2009 James Wilkinson Memorial services were held Saturday for James Wilkinson, 77, of Streetman who died Thursday, Jan. 15, at his residence. Mr. Wilkinson was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 20, 1931 to Harold and Virginia Wilkinson. During the Korean War, he served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Wilkinson was employed for 44 years with APV Baker, formerly Baker Perkins of Saginaw, Michigan, before retiring. Services were held Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana. Mr. Wilkinson is survived by his wife, Joan Wilkinson; sons, Brian J. Wilkinson and wife Cathy, and James G. Wilkinson and wife Kimberly; daughter, Debra Stoddard and husband Walter; brothers, Jerry Bishop and wife Shirley, and Lyle Bishop and wife Mary Fran Bishop; sisterin law, Irene Bishop; cousins, Charles Wilkinson and Betty Lytle; grandsons, Timothy Geese, Adam Brown, Jonah Brown and Eric Wilkinson; granddaughters, Amanda Brown and Tiffany Wilkinson; and great- grandchildren, Weston Whiteside and Nichole Geese.
