Graveside services for Deloris Ellen Willard are scheduled for 10 a.m. 
Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Fairfield Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Jim Gooch 
officiating under direction of Capps Memorial Chapel, Fairfield.

Ms. Willard passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Fairview Healthcare Residence 
in Fairfield after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born Nov. 30, 1931, in Groves and lived in Houston and Tyler prior to
moving back to Fairfield two years ago. She was a nurses' aide for many years 
and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Judson Daniel 
Davis; her parents, Wallace Rodney and Maggie (Sheppard) Navarre; three 
brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her former husband, James E. Willard of Fairfield; son, James
David Willard and wife Susan of Conroe; daughters, Sissy Awalt and husband 
Warren and Linda A. Davis and Warren, all of Fairfield. Her seven grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren also survive her.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Capps
Memorial Chapel.

Deloris Ellen Willard

Graveside services were held Wednesday, March 21 in Fairfield for Deloris 
Ellen Willard, 75, of Fairfield who died Sunday, March 18 at Fairview 
Healthcare Residence after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born November 30, 1931 in Groves, Texas and lived in Houston and Tyler 
prior to moving back to Fairfield two years ago. She was a nurse's aide for 
many years and a homemaker.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. at Fairfield Cemetery, with Dr. Jim Gooch 
officiating.

She is survived by her former husband, James E. Willard of Fairfield; her son, 
James David Willard and wife Susan of Conroe; daughters Sissy Awalt and husband 
Warren of Fairfield, and Linda A. Davis and husband Warren of Fairfield; seven
grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Judson Daniel Davis; her parents,
Wallace Rodney and Maggie (Sheppard) Navarre; three brothers, and two sisters.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
