Iva Ruth (Folk) Williams
(January 19, 1930 - October 22, 2013)

Iva Ruth Williams, resident of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 
2013 a Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco at the age of 83. She was born 
January 19, 1930 in Jamestown, Ohio to Jessie and Virginia Folk. She was a member 
of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was baptized March 1966 at Colonial Baptist 
Church in Dallas. Iva was a member of the VFW Post 5872 Ladies Auxillary. She 
was active for many years with the girls GA's at church and with the Girls Scouts. 
She enjoyed crafting. Iva was very creative and was a self taught artist and 
enjoyed painting. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband JD Williams, brother Donald.

She is survived by husband Russell Arthur of Fairfield, daughter Karen Williams 
of Houston, brother Bill Folk of Johnstown, Ohio. She will also be greatly 
missed by numerous friends.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 - 8 pm at Griffin - Roughton Funeral 
Home in Fairfield. Funeral services will be held on 1 pm Saturday, October 26, 
2013 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Suits officiating. 
Burial will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the 
Ladies Auxillary of VFW Post 5872.
