Deceased Name: Jefferson Willis

FORT WORTH - Jefferson Willis, a retired associate minister at Good Shepherd 
Church of God in Christ, died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 83.

Wake will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Williams Funeral Chapel.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Church of God in Christ, 
where he was an elder. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Willis was born in Fairfield and had lived in Fort Worth since 1955.He was
a minister at Owens Chapel Church of God in Christ and a junior pastor at 
Haynes Chapel.

Survivors: Four sons, Thurman Willis, Eugene Willis, Samuel Willis and Emanuel
Willis, all of Fort Worth; two daughters, Thelma Willis-Hall of Cleveland, and 
Margarett H. White of Fort Worth; three brothers, Hezekiah Willis of Fairfield
and Nathaniel Willis and J.D. Willis, both of Fort Worth; sister, Hazel Perry
of Fairfield; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
