JOHNNY LYNN WILSON
  Graveside services for Mr. Johnny Lynn Wilson were held on Saturday, May 17, 
2014, 3:00 p.m., at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague. Rhesa Browning, Mr. Wilson’s 
son-in-law, officiated.

  Mr. Wilson passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Providence Health Center 
in Waco. He was born in Wortham on June 14, 1936, but moved around numerous times 
as a child with his family. Mr. Wilson married Mary Elizabeth on September 5, 
1971, and shared over forty-two years together.
  Johnny worked from the age of 17 as a union boilermaker and then moved his 
family in 1978 to Teague where he was employed by the George R. Brown Partnership 
until he retired after 23 years.
  Mr. Wilson was a Teague High School graduate with the Class of 1954 and 
received two Honorable Discharges from the United States Army.
  He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Wilson of Teague; his son Wes Wilson 
and wife Lyn of Grand Prairie; his daughters Lisa Rider and husband Eric of Ennis, 
and Geraline Browning and husband Rhesa of Austin; his granddaughters, Madison 
Rider, Sidney Rider, Brooklyn Rider, Mary Browning, and Anna Browning; his 
grandson Asa Browning; other relatives and friends.
  Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Wilson and his 
brothers, W.H. Wilson and Travis Leon Wilson.
   Bowers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
