Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder Thursday, September 18, 1986 - Page 10B Memorial services held here for Caroline Williford Whatley Wilson Memorial services were held last Thursday at First Baptist Church of Fairfield for Caroline Williford Whatley Wilson, 32, who died Sept 9 at her home in Fairfield after a long illness. Mrs. Wilson was born Nov 10, 1953, in Freestone county. She was a 1972 graduate of Teague high school and earned a degree at Southwest Texas State University. Mrs. Wilson was a member of First Baptist Church and GFWC History Club at Fairfield, and had served three years as chairman of the Freestone County Fair parade committee. She was a homemaker. Services were conducted at 10 a.m. last Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Special music was provided by organist Frank O'Banion and soloist Kay Adams who performed "In the Name of the Lord" and "We Shall Behold Him". Burial was at Fairfield cemetery. Pallbearers were Glenn Williford, Carl Arnold Williford, Charlie Micheletti, Joe Wilson, Bobby Hill and Dr. Gilban Tallim. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, John T. L. Wilson of Fairfield; a son, Eric Wayne Wilson of Fairfield; her mother, Harriette Williford Whatley of Fairfield; her grandfather, C. N. Williford of Fairfield; two uncles, Carl E. Williford of Mexia and Graham DeVoe Williford of New York, N. Y.; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Leon Wilson of Hearne. Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
