Winn, 64, of National City, California. The body was expected to arrive in Wortham, Thursday morning, May 6, 1948, at 9:55 AM. Mrs. Winn was, before her marriage, Lena Robertson, of the Turlington community. She is survived by four children; also four sisters and two brothers. They are: Mrs. Lois Wood, Mrs. Howard Watson, and Carl Robertson, all of Fairfield; Mrs. A. L. Porter and C. L. Robertson of Houston, and Mrs. George Jeffcoat of San Francisco, California. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at printing time. ----------------------------------------------------- Fairfield Recorder of May 13, 1948 FINAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. B. C. WINN Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, May 6, 1948, at 3:00 PM in the church at Antioch for Mrs. B. C. Winn of National City, California, formerly of Mexia and Fairfield. Revs. H.L. McKissack, R. R. Anderson and James C. Ramey, officiated. Burial took place in the Antioch Cemetery, 7 miles East of Fairfield. Pallbearers were Howard Watson, Jr., C. J. Robertson, A. J. Emmons, John Bonner, Jerome Wood and Mims Wood. Mrs. Winn died Sunday, May 2, at 4:10 PM at her home in National City. The body arrived, by train, in Wortham Thursday morning. The deceased was born June 28, 1884. She was before her marriage to B. C. Winn on November 7, 1900, Miss Lena Robertson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charley Robertson of Turlington. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Jack Como and Mrs. J. A. Evans; two sons, Acey Lee and Lester Winn, all of National City, California, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also, four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Elma) Watson and Mrs. Lois Wood , Fairfield; Mrs. A. L. Porter, Houston and Mrs. George Jeffcoat, San Francisco; two brothers, Carl Robertson, Fairfield and C. L. Robertson of Houston.
