Home.

Ruthie Jewel (Jo) Sanders Winstead,

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruthie Jewel (Jo) Sanders Winstead, 49, of
Thornton, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Old Union
Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Dabney will conduct the rites. Porter Funeral
Home-Mexia is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Winstead, who died Thursday at Teague Nursing Home, was born Feb. 28,
1954, in Groesbeck.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruthie Jewel Sanders; her father, Carl
Thomas Sanders, Sr.; five brothers - R.L., Jimmy Ray, Little Glenn, Larry and
Kenny Sanders; two sisters - Ora Lea Johnson and Reba Kerzee; a nephew, Richard
Carl Kerzee; two other nephews and a niece; Ora Lea's baby girl and baby boy;
and by a granddaughter, Mikayla Allen.

Surviving are three daughters, Tami Jo Sanders of Tomball, Teri Lea Allen of
Donie and Tonya Harris and husband Joey of Mexia; a granddaughter, Sage
Kristiana Sanders of Tomball; two grandsons, Jonathan Allen of Donie and
Braxton Harris of Mexia; four brothers - Carl Thomas Sanders, Jr., and Wade
Sanders, both of Groesbeck, Loy Sanders of Waco and Charles Sanders of
Highlands; four sisters - Faye Texter of Cypress, Louise Collins, Joan Ferguson
and Margie Hill, all of Mexia.
