Withrow, aged 74, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Teague, Monday morning. Funeral services will be held today at First Baptist Church in Teague at 4:00, burial following in Teague cemetery. Odd Fellows in charge. Mr. Withrow was born September 8, 1870 in Gordensville, Ky. He came to Texas when a lad and was reared in the Ward Prairie community, later moving to Kirvin and to Teague. He served as commissioner of the Teague precinct several years. He joined the Baptist Church in 1920. He was married to Miss Birdie Willard, August 6, 1894, and he is survived by his wife and ten children: Mrs. L. H. Lindsey, Mrs. G. L. Gay, Mrs. Gus Harper, Mrs. Alvis Ashley, Mrs. R. W. Smith of Teague, Mrs. M. D. Ashley, Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. H. A. Davis, Corpus Christi; Mrs. C. C. Roberts, Houston; J. W. Withrow and C. B. Withrow of Orange. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ed Keller, Coriscana; Mrs. Will Lott of Dallas; three brothers, D. D. Withrow, Mexia; F. E. and W. W. Withrow, Teague and 18 grandchildren.
