Lois Glynn Wood
(January 17, 1932 - April 11, 2007)


Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Glynn Wood will be held on Friday, April 13, 
2007, at 10:00a.m. in the chapel at Bowers Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Powers will
officiate. Interment will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.
Visitation will be held on Thursday with the family present from 6:00pm until 
8:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Wood passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007,
in Fairfield at the Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Wood was a 
dedicated housewife and homemaker almost all of her life. She enjoyed cooking,
sewing, going shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Wood was a member of the First United Methodist Church in 
Teague. She is survived by her son, Mark Wood of Teague; her daughter, Renee 
Branch of Waco; six grandchildren, Kristin Roberts and Adam Wood both of
Fairfield, Jennifer Bowden of Shiloh, Jessica Terry of Joshua, Matt Branch of 
Waco, and Eric Branch of College Station; four great-grandchildren, Jonathan 
Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Kylynne Terry, and Madelyn Branch; other relatives and
friends. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Wood, and 
her parents, Joseph & Maurine Jones.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Glynn Wood, 75, were held on Friday, April 13,
2007, in the chapel at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague, Texas.

Rev. Jeff Powers officiated and interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery in 
Teague.

Mrs. Wood passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the Fairfield Nursing
and Rehab Center in Fairfield, Texas.

Mrs. Wood was a dedicated housewife and homemaker almost all of her life. She 
enjoyed cooking, sewing, going shopping and spending her time with her 
grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Wood was a member of the First 
United Methodist Church in Teague.

She is survived by her son Mark Wood of Teague, her daughter Renee Branch of 
Waco, her grandchildren Kristin Roberts and Adam Wood both of Fairfield, 
Jennifer Bowden of Shiloh, Jessica Terry of Joshua, Matt Branch of Waco and 
Eric Branch of College Station, her four great grandchildren Jonathan Roberts,
Hayden Roberts, Kylynne Terry and Madelyn Branch, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband James W. Wood and her parents
Joseph and Maurine Jones.
