Hazel Word

Graveside services were held last week at Dew Cemetery for Hazel Catherine Ada 
Swinburn Word, 92, of Victoria who died Wednesday, April 23.
Mrs. Word served as a missionary in India and Canada and was a member of Victory 
Christian Life Center in Victoria.
Services were conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25 with M.D. Hancock officiating.
Mrs. Word is survived by four children, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 
three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas G. Word, parents William and Ida 
Swinburn, and four siblings.
Memorials may be made to Victory Christian Life Center at 1604 East Prestwood in 
Victoria.
Arrangements were made by Bowers Funeral Home of Teague.
