Phara Earl Wright

Mrs. Phara Earl Wright, 96, longtime resident of Point Enterprise, died Friday
at her residence.

Born in Freestone County on April 6, 1907, Mrs. Wright was a member of the
Point Enterprise First Baptist Church and was retired from the Foster
Grandparent program at Mexia State School. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Dowie Wright; by a son, Donald Wright, and by two daughters, Patsy
Huckaby and Wanda Lamb.

Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock in
Porter Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wright are scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 2
o'clock in First Baptist Church of Point Enterprise. Officiating will be the
Rev. James Herrington. Burial will be in Point Enterprise Cemetery, under
direction of Porter Funeral Home.

Surviving are a son, Harold M. (Bud) Wright of Point Enterprise; a daughter,
Weita Martin of Point Enterprise; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Wright of Point
Enterprise; two brothers, Glen Beene of Lake of The Pines, and Doyle Beene of
Lorena; two sisters, Eunice Powell of Mexia and Louise Jones of Dallas; her
caretaker, May Thomas; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 15
great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Scotty Wadle, Kelly Martin, Barry Martin, David Lamb, Mike
Lamb, William Chappell, Danny Wright and Mike Wright.
