PIONEER CITIZEN DIES SUNDAY

Captain Jack Yeldell died in Dallas Sunday. Captain Yeldell was 79 years old
and settled in this section 54 years ago. He lived in Mexia in recent years
although owning a large farm in Freestone County.

He was an old Ex-Confederate and one time served as County Commissioner of
Freestone County. Death was due to kidney trouble.

Burial was in the Mexia Cemetery Wednesday.
