Laurissa (Newman) Young

Laurissa Young, 87, of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at East
Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield with
the Rev. Eston Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 14, 1914 in Fairfield. She was a housewife, and a member of
Round Prairie Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include her daughter, Loretta Anderson of Fairfield; son, Robert
Young III; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, James Newman
of Fairfield; and special person in her life, Shirley Cassel of Fairfield.
