SPECULATION ON IDENTITY AND TIME PERIOD

The family on the grass. Boots look like Victorian Chippawa boots. 
Seems after the introduction of the personal camera where people did not have 
to go to a photography studio.  The Brownie box camera came out in 1900, so 
probably after then.
