Spotlight Upon Unsung Heroes:

Judge Roy Moore, Alabama Judge

In the opinion of the writer, defending a right, an unpopular decision or 
belief at the risk of personal sacrifice is most commendable and is a 
characteristic of a hero. This is especially true in the case of Judge Roy 
Moore of Alabama.

Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU and was removed from his bench because he 
refused to remove the Ten Commandments from the foyer of his courtroom. "He 
has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip him of his
right to practice law in Alabama." Below is a poem, written by Judge Moore, 
that sums up his stand well, even though it might not be a work of art.

He has stood firm and I believe that he merits our praise and support.
