Bonner-Jones Family Reunion News Release

On September 22, 2007, descendants of Willis and Lady Jones Bonner, with their 
relatives and friends gathered in the Fairfield Senior Center, Fairfield, Texas for their 
annual family reunion, day of reminiscing and fun.

The schedule of activities included registration, getting acquainted, a program, silent 
action, bingo, dominoes, lunch, door prizes, and the election of officers.

The members of the planning/executive committee for the next year are Wilmer R. 
Bonner, Chairman, Lee Alvin English, Vice Chairman, Andrea Bonner, 
Secretary/Treasurer, Martha Helene Taylor, Editor, Bonner-Jones Newsletter Wilbur T. 
Bonner-Titus, Hazel Grace Mayes, Margaret Nell McGee, Johnny Willis, Rufus L. and 
Marietta McGee.

Willis Bonner Attendees

Descendants of Willis and Lady Jones Bonner who attended were Wilbur T. Bonner-
Titus, oldest living descendant of Willis and Lady Bonner, and son of James Bonner; 
Hazel Grace Mayes and son, Harvell G. Mayes of Fairfield, Texas, and son of Clifton 
Napoleon Bonner Edward Donald Herndon and wife Brenda of Round Rock, Texas.

Edward (Ned) Bonner Attendees

The Edward (Ned) Bonner descendants attending were Wilmer R. Anita, and Andrea 
Bonner and son of Missouri City, Texas.

Flaundol Bonner Warren Family

The descendants of Flaunoal Bonner Warren who were there are Lee Alvin English of 
Dallas, Texas, Woodrow English of Fairfield, Texas, and Pamela Darlene English Betts 
of Duncanville, Texas.

Smith Jones Family Attendees

Descendants of Smith and Priscilla Thurman Jones who attended were the descendants of 
Louraina Jones Lemmons: Margaret Nell McGee of Fairfield, Texas, Lue Johnson, Tony 
and Cathy Johnson, Ebony, Destiny, and Desmond Willis of Dallas, Texas.

Friends who visited were Mrs. Lubertha Beck of Fairfield and .a friend of Desmond 
Willis of Dallas.

The next reunion is scheduled for the fourth Saturday of September 2008 in Fairfield 
Senior Center, Fairfield, Texas.
