Sam Hopkins Are Hosts To Bar-B-Q dinner In Their Home

  On Sunday, July 16, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hopkins hosted a barbeque dinner for
their relatives and friends at their home in Lanely.
  Those who enjoyed the dinner with Sam and Adelle were:  Ted and Opal Hopkins
of Bryan; Edgar and Jeanie Bowers of Dew; John and Peggy Rasco Traci and Greg
of Dallas, G.A. and Juanita Gorman of Houston; Victor Landgrebe of Houston; 
Jim and Pat Akin Beth and Mike of Bryan; Bud and Dorothy Robeson of Centerville;
Bud Landgrebe of Houston; Kenna Beaver, Las Vegas, Nev.; Rebuen and Faye 
Jaecks and Susan Lester of Dew; Charlie Landgrebe, Robert and Kyle Posey of
Channelview.
  Also present were:  Bob and Tomi Jaecks and Kevin of Dew; Selma and 
Henderick Hagen of Fairfield; Jim and Hoatie Hawkins of LaPorte; Sid and Viola
Barker, Millican; Wendell Barker, Millican; Marilyn Jones, Karen and Steve 
and Russell Sablatura, League City; Hop and Leota Hopkins of Montgomery; 
Charles and Evelyn Lyrock, Houston; Joe and Mae Brown, and Shirley, Dallas;
Ross and Barbara Leago and Tray, Houston; and Mary Josey of Houston.
  A delicious dinner of barbeque, baked beans, potato salad, and many other 
salads as well as cakes and pies were enjoyed by all present..
  The children enjoyed fishing and horseback riding.
