Smart Family holds Reunion At Lake State Park, July 9

  The Smart Family Reunion was held July 9, 1978 at the Fairfield Lake at 
Cook's Ferry. There were 62 family members and six visitors present.  The 
oldest member of the family was Charlie Smarty age 78 years and the 
youngest member was Erica Carswell, eight months. A good time was had by all.
  All present were: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smart from Magnolia, Ark., Mr. and Mrs. 
Pete Smart and family from Tyler, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Smart, Alice Smart 
from Grapeland, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Smart, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Smart from 
Jacksonville, Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Smart and Dina and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Doug
Wynn and Bo, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCain, Jr and family from Bremond, Mr. and 
Mrs. D.W. Smart, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Betterton and girls, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey 
Essary and boys from Ben Wheeler, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smart and Marty, Mr. and 
Mrs. John Carswell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ward and girls from Houston,
Mr. and Mrs. Leamon Rollins, Mrs. Neva Ward and Mickey, Mr. and Mrs. Glen 
Ward and family from Fairfield, and Mrs. Daisy Smart also from Fairfield.
