"MASONS LEVEL CORNERSTONE - Members of Fairfield Masonic Lodge No. 103 AF & AM,
and members of Order of Eastern Star, Fairfield, were hosts for ceremonies
levelling the cornerstone of the new lodge building on North Keechi in 
Fairfield Saturday night.  Included in the list of dignitaries on hand for the
event were those pictured above, left to right: Hugh Rooks of Waco; members of
the Committe on Work of the Grand Lodge of Texas AF&AM, Sam I. Smith of 
Waxahachie, Goose Ramsey of Dimmitt, H. C. Robason of Abilene, John T. Bean,
Past Grand Master of Texas from Fort Worth, Perry M. Parker of Port Arthus,
Frank S. Tamsett of San Antonio, and J. B. Noland of Hereford, all members of
the committee except PGM Bean; Edd Bonner, Forrest Wood and Marvin Watson,
Worshipful Master of the Fairfield Lodge.  The big crowd enjoyed the levelling
of the cornerstone, then a diner at Sam's Restaurant and dedication ceremonies
following dinner at the lodge."
