Wed July 26, 1941 . . .
Mr. and Mrs. Davis celebrate 65 years

Fairfield couple Lee Judson Davis and Kathryn Miles Davis celebrate their 
65th wedding anniversary Wednesday, July 26.

The couple are the parents of three children; Kathy, George Miles and Warren 
Judson; and have seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Bro. W.R. Miller officiated at the couple’s 1941 wedding, and attendants were 
Verna May Manahan Stroud and Johnny A. Hill.

Davis served in the U.S. Army as chief warrant officer during World War II. He 
continued his career in Fairfield, working at the Fairfield State Bank and 
serving as its president from 1966 until 1973. He is now retired.

Mrs. Davis is a homemaker. Both are long-time members of First Baptist Church 
of Fairfield.
