Amy is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William (Mac) McAdams of Teague and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hall of Mexia. Brian is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayland Oakes of Donie and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans of Teague. The bride to be is a graduate of Robinson high school and is a student at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH where she will graduate in December with a bachelor's degree in childhood studies. The intended groom is a graduate of Fairfield high school and is a student/athlete at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH where he plays football, runs track and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in history. McAdams, Evans wed in Waco Amy Kristin McAdams became the bride of Michael Brian Evans in a June 24 ceremony held at First Baptist Church in Waco. Dr. Eric Holleyman officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of David and Melissa McAdams of Robinson, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William G. McAdams of Teague and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hall of Mexia. The groom is the son of Michael and Deborah Oakes Evans of Fairfield, and the grandson of Helen and Wayland Oakes of Donie and Robert and Barbara Evans of Teague. Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless Monique Luo multi- tiered wedding dress with a sweeping train accented by a string of pearls given to her beloved late great-grandmother, Florence Fisher, in 1942. She also wore the wedding ring that belonged to her late maternal grandmother, Geraldine Fisher Hall. Her fingertip veil was trimmed in crystals and beads. Maid of honor was Mallory McAdams, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sydney McAdams, sister of the bride; Lacey Muhlman, Lindsey Ostrom, Dawn Salsbury, Nicole Bailey and Brendy Robinson. Best man for the groom was Jerrod Tomlinson. Groomsmen were Cooper Daniel, Blair Casey, Brendon Holm, John Manning, John Pircon and Ian Wilson. Flower girl was Ivy Robinson. Ushers were Emory DeVillier, Ethan DeVillier, Dan Siegfried, Jeremy Collins, Caleb Cheavens and Jered Ruyle. A dinner and dance was hosted by the bride's parents at the Lee Lockwood Library after the ceremony, where guests enjoyed a catered meal. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Nelson's, where a jazz ensemble entertained throughout the evening. The bride is a graduate of Robinson high school and will graduate in December from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in childhood studies. The groom attends Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he plays football, runs track and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in history. After a honeymoon in St. Thomas, the couple will return to New England in the fall to continue their educations. They will make their home in Hanover.
