Family announces upcoming wedding

Miss Arin Troxell's engagement to Donivan W. Flowers is announced by her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Danny W. Troxell of Baytown.

Donivan is the son of Rev. and Mrs. C. Wayne Flowers of Fairfield and the
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Flowers of West Monroe, Louisiana and Mr.
and Mrs. Allan Anderson of Slidell, Louisiana.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Mr. L. W. Sowders and the late Mrs.
Lucille Sowders and Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Troxell all of Baytown. She is a
graduate of Robert E. Lee high school in Baytown and has a B.A. in English from
the University of Houston.

She is currently employed by GCCISD as a middle school teacher.

The prospective groom has a B.S. in sociology from the University of Texas in
Tyler. He graduated from the University of Houston Law Center with a juris
doctorate.

He is an attorney with the Freeman Law Firm in Houston.

An April 29 wedding is planned at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in
Houston.

Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Houston.
