Tea Honors Miss Helfin

  A gift tea honoring Miss Gena Kay Helfin, bride-elect of Robert Easterling, 
was held Satrday, May 3 in the home of Mrs. Tommy Miller.
  A receiving line made up of the bride-elect, her sisters, Mrs. Dwight Hudler 
of Jacksonville and Miss Darla Heflin of Lubbock, the mother of the prospective
groom, Mrs. Bill Easterling, and Mrs. Miller greeted guests.
  Guests were registered by Miss Cynthia Pruitt of Fairfield and escorted by 
Mrs. James Easterling of Fairfield to rooms displaying bridal gifts.
  Guests were served from a table covered with an ecru crocheted cloth and 
centered with an arrangement of aqua and peach silk flowers.
  Finger sandwiches, sausage balls, peach turnovers, blueberry muffins, mints,
punch, and coffee were served from silver and crystal appointments by Mrs. Don
McLeod and Miss Pam Freeman of Fairfield.
  The couple will exchange vowes on June 14 at 4 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church
in Fairfield.
