Calzada, Matherne exchange vows

Emerald Nicole Calzada of Palestine recently became the bride of Ryan Wayne
Matherne of Fairfield. The wedding took place at Evangelistic Temple in
Palestine on April 8. Brother Barry officiated.

The single ring ceremony included Candace Sanchez as maid of honor and Robbie
Martin as the bridesmaid.

Justin Matherne was best man and Justin Reynolds was in attendance as a
groomsman.

Christopher Calzada acted as ringbearer.

Emerald Nicole is the daughter of David Calzada, who gave his daughter in
marriage at the altar. Ryan Matherne is the son of Trina Hope of Fairfield and
Patrick Matherne of Calvert City, Kentucky. He graduated from Warren County
high school in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2002 and is now in the U. S. Army
stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

The bride graduated Westwood high school in 2005 and is employed at TXU.

The couple now reside in Palestine.
