Mary Ellen Cambell was born in the East Indies on May 29, 1856. The family 
bible indicates that she was born in "Carronbore" (Hard to read). Her parents 
were Scotch & Irish. She married Marion Smith Stines in Galveston March 18, 
1872.They moved to Double Bayou in Chambers County. They had 8 children between 
1873 and 1897. I can provide a list of their names and birth dates. Mary 
suffered from asthma and she died Jan. 25th 1905. She is buried in the Stines 
family cemetery on Double Bayou.

Additional Comments:
I need to find out where "Carronbore" (Or however it is spelled)is in the East 
Indies. I need to find out when she came to Texas. She probably immigrated to 
Galveston. I'd like to find her parents and where they came from in the British 
Isles.
