*Valadez, Juan, *60, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, July 4, 2000 at Hill
Country Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held July 6 in St. Mary's
Catholic Church with interment in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. He was boran
in Del Rio on October 1, 1939, the son of Leandro Valadez  and Placida
Sandoval Valadez. He married Mary Helen Rubio in Fredericksburg on April 13,

*Valdez, Cipriano D., *75, of Austin, died Tuesday, January 18, 2000 in an
Austin care center. A rosery service was recited at the Grimes Funeral Chapels
in Kerrville. He was born in Fredericksburg on December 5, 1924. (1/26/2000)

*Valk, Mrs. Howard,* 83, nee Agnes B. Loney, of Austin, died in Austin on
Monday, February 8, 1999. Funeral services were be held at the Cook-
Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral on on February 11, with interment in the Coo-
Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park. She was born in Austin on July 24, 1915, the
daughter of Oscar Loney and Catherine Siegmund Loney. She was a decendent of
the John Leyendecker family of Fredericksburg. She married Howard Valk and he
preceded her in death. (2/10/99)

*Vanderberry, Lt. Col. Robert C., USAF Ret., *of Fredericksburg died
Wednesday, November 22, 2000. Graveside services were held December 1, in the
Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. (11/29/2000)

*Vollmar, PFC. Sammie J. USMC, *September 9, 1947 to June 1, 1967*. * In

*Vordenbaum, Mrs. Edmond F., *85, nee Mildred Wahl, of New Braunfels died
Sunday, August 27, 2000 at her residence. Funeral services were held August 29
in the Bracken United Methodist Church with burial in the Bracken Community
Cemetery. She was born on November 4, 1914, in Comal County, the daughter of
Benjamin Robert Wahl and Marie Armke Wahl. She married Edmond F. Vordenbaum
on June 24, 1943 in Bracken. (08/30/2000)
