Schaetter Funeral Home
Mrs. Elmond J. Klein nee Cora Anne Grienke of Fredericksburg, Texas passed 
away in her home on Thursday, October 1st, 2015 at the age of 88 years. She 
was born October 26th, 1926 in Gillespie County, Texas the daughter of Eddie 
W. Grienke and Frieda Minnie Ahrens Grienke, married Elmond J. Klein on May 
16th, 1945 at St. Mary’s Church in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmond J. Klein, brother, Edwin 
Grienke and a sister, Tillie, Mrs. Ira Fiedler.

She is survived three sons, one daughter & spouses, David & Charrissea Klein 
of Granbury, Texas, Gloria & Travis Burrer, Sr. of Fredericksburg, Daniel 
Klein & Cindy Vilnes of San Antonio, Douglas & Sandra Klein of 
Fredericksburg, daughter in law, Barbara Klein of LaVernia, Texas, nephew & 
spouse, Kenneth & Pat Grienke-Jung of West, Texas, eleven grandchildren 
twenty-five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren

Funeral services for Cora A. Klein will be held on Monday, October 5th, 2015 
at 2:00 P. M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, 
with her nephew, Deacon Curtis Klein officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery in Fredericksburg.

Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the 
Cora & Elmond Klein Memorial Scholarship Fund, Hill Country Memorial 
Hospice, or to the charity of their choice.

Visitation for Mrs. Klein will begin on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 7:00 P. 
M. and on Monday, from 7:30 A.M. to 2:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home 
in Fredericksburg.
