This is the 1880 Federal Census for Gonzales County, Texas

Transcriber's "general" comments about Enumerator District 69.	

1. Entries enclosed with brackets [   ] indicates that the entry was marked through.
2. Stamped page 421B, 439B, and 453B are out of order for the Dwelling number.  I 
   have transcribed this Enumeration Dist. No. 69 in order of Dwelling numbers.
3. All spelling of Birthplaces are as recorded in census.
4. All spelling of Occupations are as recorded in census.
5. All spelling of Relationships are as recorded in census
6. Birthplaces that are blank were not recorded.
7. If At School is written in the Occupation Column, the Attending School Column 
   usually is not marked.
8. Martial Status is sometimes not marked for children.
9.  Enumerator mis-spells Prussia as Prusia.
10. Stamped page No. 421A - the written Page No. was originally 4, but was overwritten 
    with the number 1.
11  Stamped page No. 421B - the written Page No. was originally 43, but was overwriten 
    with the number 4.
12. Stamped page No. 422B - the written Page No. can not be read.
13. Stamped page No. 440A - the written Page No. was originally 38, but was overwritten 
    with the number 39.
14. Stamped page No. 440B - the written Page No. was originally 39, but was overwritten 
    with the number 40.
15. Stamped page No. 454B - the written Page No. was originally 67, but was overwritten 
    with the number 66.
16. Stamped page No. 453B - the written Page No. was originally 67, but was overwritten 
    with the number 67.
17. The Enumerators capital H and capital N are almost indistinguishable.
18. Mexican people's color was recorded as Mex, but all were overwritten with a W.
