Lockhart to partition and ____?_____ The State of Texas} In Vacation July 13th 1847 Dewitt County } Upon the petition of W P Patterson of said county filed in Court__?___ Jasper L Gilbert who refuses to administer upon the Estate of his late wife (Sarah E Gilbert)deced It is ordered by the court that the clerk make Publication that Letters of Administrations will be granted at the July term of the Probate Court to Same citizens of said Court if the said Jasper L. Gibert still refuses and that the clerk issue citation commanding said Gilbert to appear at the Courthouse in the town of Cameron on the last Monday of the present month July 26th day and shew caus if any why he refuses to Administer on said estate J M Baker Probate Judge Cameron July 13th 1847 Esqr Baker I take the liberty of droping you a few lines to inform you that Jasper L. Gilbert of this county refuses to Administer on his late wife Estate (Sarah E Gilbert) As it is holy necessary for the benefit of the children as well as other persons that it should be done I hope you will cite him to appear at the next term of the probate court.
